5k Race for Hunger – Finger Lakes Premier Trail Run
Our USTAF certified course is situated in a wetland preserve, but is not your typical “trail run.” The terrain is relatively flat, with a stone dust path and awesome native wildflowers, wildlife and ponds surrounding the course. And although it’s a wetland preserve, we build up the trail for race day, so even if the weather has been rainy, the course will be relatively dry.
Proceeds from the 5K Race for Hunger benefit the House of Concern, a very active, local food pantry that services hundreds of families in need.
The unique features of this 5K are the stone dust path course and the surprisingly beautiful landscape of native plant species in this created wetland in the heart of the Finger Lakes. This course is USTAF certified. Race Map
